Is this a good horse racing betting system? February 26th, 2009
1. look at the odds board and find out who the 1st two betting favorites are in any race.
2. If the 2nd choice is 3-1 odds or more and every other horse is 4-1 or higher you be on teh favorite in win only ( regardless of the odds).
3. if the 2nd choice is less then 3-1 do not be this race
4. if the 3rd choice is 3-1 odds or less do not bet this race.
Just wondering if anybody have used this system or what people think of this system??
if you answer my question please give me so detail why you like it or do not like it it would help me understand if it is a good system or not.

i always look at the horses rather than the odds, i look at past performances, which post position they had in the race, how fast they went, what position they finished in, what the track conditions were, who rode/drove the horse and what they went the last quarter in; i try to look at all of these factors for all of the horses in a race and then use this to decide which horse/horses look good for the race, how many horses i like in the race affects what i bet, if i like one alot i bet it to win, if i like two or three somewhat equally i box a perfecta or trifecta
